I grew up in Hesston on the family farm. I attended KSU and obtained my masters degree in Communication Sciences and Disorders. I’ve worked as a medical Speech Language Pathologist for the past 13 years; the last five years emphasizing outpatient rehabilitation. My passion is helping adults. Whether it is needing to learn to speak again after a stroke; or helping individuals safely swallow; or helping with many memory strategies so that they can manage home or work life more effectively. But I do have a soft spot in my heart for helping littles with their speech sounds, so that they can effectively communicate their wants and needs with their caretakers and loved ones.
I am married to my farmer husband, and live in Hesston with our three boys. When I’m not being the chaos coordinator. I enjoy baking, entertaining and being creative.
